Accounts Receivable

Money owed to the chapter that has not yet been collected — primarily unpaid dues.

Accounts receivable (AR) is the total a chapter is owed but hasn't received, mostly outstanding member dues. High AR ties up the budget and signals collection problems. Tracking AR by member and age (how overdue it is) helps a treasurer prioritize follow-up and forecast available cash.
