Accounts Payable
Money the chapter owes to others — vendors, the national organization, or members awaiting reimbursement.
Accounts payable (AP) is what the chapter owes but hasn't yet paid: vendor invoices, national dues remittances, and pending reimbursements. Managing AP means paying obligations on time without overdrawing the account. Treasurers balance AP against incoming dues so the chapter always has cash to cover what's due.
