Outstanding Balance

The amount a member still owes after any payments made so far.

An outstanding balance is what remains unpaid on a member's dues after partial payments are applied. It's the figure a member sees in their portal and the treasurer tracks for follow-up. The sum of all members' outstanding balances equals the chapter's accounts receivable.
