Installment

A single scheduled payment within a larger payment plan.

An installment is one of the periodic payments that make up a payment plan. For example, $1,600 in dues split into four monthly installments is four payments of $400. Each installment has its own due date, and tracking them individually shows exactly how much of the total balance remains.
