Refund

Returning a payment to the member who made it, in full or in part.

A refund sends money back to a member — for example when someone overpays, leaves the chapter before an event, or is charged in error. Unlike a chargeback (initiated by the bank), a refund is issued voluntarily by the chapter. Tracking refunds keeps the chapter's records and collection totals accurate.
