Dues & Billing

Social Fee

A portion of dues (or a separate charge) that funds a chapter's social events and programming.

A social fee is the share of member payments earmarked for mixers, formals, date parties, and other social programming. Some chapters bundle it into dues; others bill it separately so members who opt out of events can pay less. It is funded by and tracked against the chapter's social budget.
