Payment Processing Fee

The charge a payment processor takes to handle a transaction, often a percentage plus a fixed amount.

A processing fee is what it costs to accept an electronic payment. Card payments typically cost around 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, while ACH bank transfers cost far less. On platforms like Dueflow the fee is shown up front and paid by the member, so the chapter receives the full amount it asks for and pays no platform fee.

Dueflow is the free platform treasurers use to collect dues, run budgets, and manage chapter finances.
