Dueflow Cards are the only cashback card built specifically for student groups and chapters. Every purchase earns up to 1% back — paid into the group treasury, not to an individual — and every card is virtual, issued in seconds, and fully controllable by the treasurer.
No other card product on the market does this for fraternity and sorority chapters. Here’s exactly how it works.
What Dueflow Cards are
A Dueflow Card is a virtual credit card tied to a chapter’s Dueflow account. The chapter treasurer issues it from the dashboard in a matter of seconds — no waiting for plastic in the mail, no calling a bank, no paperwork. The card is created, named, assigned, and ready to spend almost immediately.
Once issued, the member it’s assigned to adds it straight to Apple Wallet and taps to pay anywhere contactless payments are accepted. From the treasurer’s side, every transaction shows up in the Dueflow dashboard in real time, already tagged to the card and the member who spent it.
Every feature, explained
Virtual cards, sent to Apple Wallet
Each card exists digitally. There’s no physical card to print, mail, or lose. The member receives the card details and provisions it to Apple Wallet in seconds — then it’s ready to tap at any merchant that accepts contactless payments. No waiting, no logistics.
This also means a lost phone is not a crisis. The treasurer cancels the card from the dashboard in one tap, and the number is dead instantly.
Spend limits — set by the treasurer, enforced automatically
Every card gets a spend limit the moment it’s created. Treasurers can set limits on four different frequencies:
- Daily — the card resets each day
- Weekly — resets each week
- Monthly — resets each month
- One-time — a single fixed budget that doesn’t reset
On top of the overall limit, treasurers can also set a per-transaction cap. That means even if the monthly limit is $500, no single purchase can exceed whatever the per-transaction limit is set to. Both are enforced by the payment network automatically — the card declines if it would go over, no manual tracking required.
Member assignment
Every card can be assigned to a specific member so the treasurer always knows who’s carrying it. Cards can also be kept organization-owned — for a shared team budget or a recurring vendor — without being tied to any individual. The assignment shows up in the transaction feed, so every charge has a name next to it.
Instant freeze and cancel
Treasurer notices something off? Freeze the card — it stops working immediately but can be unfrozen just as fast. Event’s over and the card is no longer needed? Cancel it. The number is permanently invalidated and the card disappears from Apple Wallet. Neither action requires a call to anyone.
Real-time transaction feed
Every purchase on every card shows up in the Dueflow Finance dashboard as it happens — the merchant, the amount, the date, the card it came from, and the member it’s assigned to. Treasurers can itemize charges against budget line items on the spot rather than reconciling a statement at the end of the month.
For chapters with nationals oversight, the same feed is visible at the national level through the Dueflow nationals dashboard at no extra cost.
The only cashback card built for groups
This is the part that makes Dueflow Cards genuinely different.
Most card products — business credit cards, shared debit accounts, treasurer’s personal cards — either earn no rewards or earn rewards that go to an individual. A treasurer using their own Amex earns their own points. A chapter using a shared debit card earns nothing at all.
Dueflow Cards earn up to 1% cashback on every purchase, and it goes directly back into the chapter treasury. Not to the treasurer. Not to Dueflow. To the chapter.
The math is straightforward:
- $10,000 in annual card spend → $100 back
- $25,000 in annual card spend → $250 back
- $50,000 in annual card spend → $500 back
That’s on purchases the chapter was going to make anyway. Events, supplies, food, apparel, vendor payments. The cashback compounds every year the chapter is on Dueflow.
Every other card option for student groups returns $0 in rewards to the group itself. No Greek life-specific card, no shared bank account, no campus debit card offers cashback that lands in the treasury. Dueflow Cards are the only one.
How Dueflow Cards compare to what chapters use today
Treasurer’s personal card
Earns rewards for the treasurer personally, not the chapter. No per-member spend limits. The treasurer is personally liable for all chapter spending. And reconciliation is still manual — you’re comparing a personal card statement to a spreadsheet of what the chapter agreed to spend.
Shared debit card or shared bank account
Business credit cards (Amex, Chase, etc.)
Not designed for student organizations. Require a business credit check, a named cardholder liable for the debt, and often a personal guarantee. Rewards go to the named account holder, not a group treasury. And issuing a card to a committee member means either adding them as a user on the business account (a compliance headache) or, again, having them front their own cash.
Frequently asked questions
Who can issue Dueflow Cards?
Any chapter on Dueflow. Card issuing runs on bank-grade rails, so the organization completes a short one-time verification step before the first card is issued. After that, the treasurer can create as many virtual cards as the chapter needs.
Is there a limit on how many cards a chapter can have?
No fixed cap. Treasurers can issue cards for individual members, for committees, or for specific events — and cancel them when they’re no longer needed.
Does cashback apply to all purchases?
Up to 1% cashback applies to purchases made on Dueflow Cards. The rate is set per chapter and paid into the treasury automatically.
What does this cost?
Dueflow charges chapters and nationals $0 in platform fees. Cards are part of the same platform. The cashback means the cards actively return money to the chapter rather than adding another cost line.
Can national headquarters see card activity?
Yes. Nationals get full visibility into card spend across chapters through the Dueflow nationals dashboard, the same way they see dues, payments, and balances. No extra setup required.
Getting started
Dueflow Cards are available now. Chapters can issue their first virtual card from Finance → Cards in the Dueflow dashboard. If your chapter isn’t on Dueflow yet, get started here — setup takes about five minutes, and the first card can be issued the same day.
